Real camera lenses produce characteristic optical phenomena at object boundaries: motion blur on fast-moving subjects, depth-of-field bokeh on out-of-focus elements, chromatic aberration at high-contrast edges, and lens distortion at the frame periphery. AI-generated video simulates these effects imperfectly. Edges in synthetic video are characteristically smoother or more uniform than optical capture produces. 3. Texture Uniformity Measurement
Every real-world surface — human skin, fabric weave, concrete, wood grain, grass — has organic, irregular texture at the micro level. Skin in a deepfake looks flawless in a way real skin does not. Fabric looks consistent where real fabric has random variation. What the Results Mean

- 60–80%: Elevated probability. Multiple AI generation signals are present. Treat with significant suspicion. Run additional checks before trusting or publishing.
